The purpose of the school was to provide young researchers involved within the Action with training on current developments on attosecond experiments. In particular: (i) attosecond science and technology, devoted to the generation and application of attosecond pulses to the investigation of electronic dynamics in atoms, molecules, nanostructures and condensed phases; (ii) fundamentals, methods and applications of free electron lasers in atomic and molecular science. This School hosted Nobel Prize winners Pierre Agostini and Anne L’Huillier.

At the conference, Antonio Mazzarone presented a poster titled: “Focusing Delivery Schemes: a Comparative Analysis for Extreme UltraViolet Ultrafast Tabletop Ptychography”. Claudia Schrama presented a poster titled: “Ultrafast Ptychographic Imaging of Order-Disorder Correlations in Hybrid Nanoparticle Topologies”. We congratulate Antonio for winning the travel grant to attended the School, which took place in Erice (Italy), on April 7-13, 2025!
