Project Description

LUXEM at the University of Pavia invites applications for a position of Project & Communication Assistant. The position is within the framework of the ERC StG ULTRAIMAGE and ERC PoC HYPER projects supervised by Prof. Giulia Fulvia Mancini, for a duration of 2–years (with the possibility of an extension).

JOB DESCRIPTION & TASKS

The candidate shall:

  • Be in charge of communications with the University’s project Management Offices and with the P.I. of the
    projects
  • Monitor progress and deviations from project’s timetable and budget
  • Provide support for the project materials, activities & their implementation, e.g. conferences & purchase
    orders
  • Coordinate communication & dissemination strategies of the LUXEM research group via social media and
    website
  • Curate and manage LUXEM group profiles, website & blogs
  • Create and elaborate original, descriptive and captivating contents, optimized for the social network
    employed, drafting of texts, articles, contents for websites, newsletters
  • Content & hot topics scouting, keep up with emergent trends, best practices and recent media developments

TYPE OF CONTRACT

  • Temporary contract for work and service
  • Initially limited to two years
  • Full-time employee (37,5 hours a week)
  • Workplace: Laboratory for Ultrafast X-ray and Electron Microscopy (LUXEM), University of Pavia (Italy)
  • Estimated starting date: as soon as possible.
