Python Developer
At the Laboratory for Ultrafast X-ray and Electron Microscopy (LUXEM), we develop & utilize innovative ultrafast methods for functional microscopy. LUXEM invites applications for a Python Developer to implement the software underpinning the remote controls of our imaging & diffraction devices.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Development, implementation and optimization of a cohesive software for imaging & diffraction devices
- Innovation management, technology scouting
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- You have expertise in programming with Python and C, either form learning in the field or from a University degree in Informatics/Computer Engineering or similar
- You have experience in data analysis and programming in Python, C, C++
- You are a quick learner and working in a multi-cultural environment motivates you
Your profile is rounded off by having:
- Good knowledge of English
- Natural aptitude towards team-working and good communication skills
- Attention to detail, problem-solving aptitude and good time management skills
TYPE OF CONTRACT
- Entry/mid-level temporary contract
- Initially limited to 1 year, renewable on a yearly base
- Full-time employee
- Workplace: Laboratory for Ultrafast X-ray and Electron Microscopy (LUXEM), University of Pavia (Italy), onsite and remote
- Estimated starting date: as soon as possible
